I was surprised at how easily I was drawn into this story created by Peter Clines. I've never read anything by him before and decided to pick this up based on the abstract. It was humorous, mysterious, and "science fictiony" all at once. The Scooby-Doo references are an absolute hoot! It was both thrilling and enjoyable to follow the discoveries made throughout the story as mysteries are slowly uncovered.
